Why is hemp seed oil good for dogs and cats?
Hemp seed oil is rich in two essential fatty acids: Linolenic acid (Omega-3) and Linoleic acid (Omega-6). Being polyunsaturated fats, these are not produced naturally by your pet’s body (or even ours!) and is best to be included in their diet.

Check the chart below for suggested feeding amounts, or as directed by a veterinarian. Can be used in combination with all Fortunate Paws products. This is a guide only and amounts may vary according to your pets size, age and activity levels. We suggest feeding 0.5ml per 100g of feed.

How to give hemp seed oil to dogs and cats
Hemp seed oil can be taken daily, as part of a healthy, balanced diet. We suggest starting with a small amount of hemp seed oil added to your pets feed, then build up over time. It is also recommended to discuss any health concerns with your vet.
Note: It is not recommended to cook or heat oil as it may turn rancid.

Excellent she likes the normal one but unfortunately she doesn’t like the calming oil which she must have, she doesn’t eat the food with it on and unfortunately that’s the only way I can give it to her.
Using this as part of a course for our little dogs dermatogical yeast on her underbelly. Seems to be going well.
I give it to my mini Dachshund for joint and hip support because of his long back.
I’ve used the hemp oil only once to quiet my cavoodle while I groom her. I waited about half an hour but she was still very nervous. It seemed to affect her much later as she slept for quite awhile. I’ll wait longer next groom. Delivery time was prompt.
